In June, 2019, Charis Legacy was introduced to a foundation close to our hearts. Rise and Rebuild, a foundation bringing help to the Philippines by feeding school-age children, building comfort rooms (bathrooms), setting up gardens to provide jobs and nourishment, and bringing innovative new building materials for stronger structures.
The founder, Ray Goodsen, approached us about building several new nutrition centers in Filipino schools, and we were touched with the efforts Rise and Rebuild has made so far. And recently, we received news that these nutrition centers are in progress with some nearing completion.
